Guided by a strong passion for helping others, Rhys has helped hundreds of high-net-worth individuals and families from every corner of the country prepare for, and navigate, retirement. Wielding deep knowledge of the tax code, estate planning considerations, financial markets, and portfolio design, Rhys works with his clients to maximize their retirement and minimize their lifetime tax bill.
A career problem solver, nearly a decade ago he transitioned from deciphering encrypted radio signals for the US Navy to interpreting and finding solutions for the complex financial needs of the families he serves.
Before joining Jarvis Financial in 2023, Rhys served as a tax and investment advisor for many years in Tacoma, Washington and has always worked to improve the financial outcomes for his clients.
Since earning his BS in Business Analytics from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, Rhys has continued his education by obtaining the Series 65 license and becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. A firm believer in being a lifelong student, Rhys continues to prioritize learning and leveraging that knowledge for the success of his clients.
Outside of the office, Rhys and his wife, Paige, stay busy raising three small children in Fircrest, Washington. Refreshed by the great outdoors, he likes to spend as much time outside as possible and enjoys hiking, kayaking, golfing, and playing various racket sports.
